halloween treats

i have been working hard on getting four halloween(ish) tshirts ready for a collaboration with petite ame.   i say ish, because i think most of them could be worn year-round?  but maybe not p is for pumpkin.

i think with my upcoming class, i am feeling some pressure to get other time-sensitive projects completed, before it gets underway.  and, somehow, i have grown into someone who likes to knock out the work asap, instead of waiting until the last minute.  how did that happen?

but, as tends to happen when i am running short on time, patience, or supplies, technical problems arise.

emulsion bubbles and peels, materials are on back-order, and ink jumps onto perfectly nice sleeves!

but, it is all part of learning how to run a business right?  i am trying to take note of problems, so i can avoid them (the ones that are avoidable at least) for the next big project!

the best part about it all though, is seeing the shirts after they are printed!  i get soooo excited to see the designs on fabric!

this time around i get to experience that thrill twice!  first i get to see the shirts come to life, then i’ll get to see what happens when erica pairs them with her fabric!

so, today’s mission.  remain calm.  print more shirts.  acquire more shirts.  (why did i think i had 16 already?  i need a blank t-shirt outlet to pop up next door)  fantasize about halloween candy….oh yeah 🙂
