or not….it would be better to react gracefully to life’s little ups and downs, but i mostly feel like i fall flat on my face! but, success isn’t measured in the number of falls right? but rather in the number of getting back ups?
i have been frantically working on dolls (or worrying about working on dolls), because i have to have 8 done by the end of this month! i definitely don’t feel like i am progressing fast enough, but i am getting close to having all the skeleton bodies ready, they just need hair. my mom made a trip to fredericksburg yesterday and picked me up some new yarns, so i can’t wait to see!!
i think the more i want to work on something, the more the little guys act up. this week i have gotten almost nothing done, because if i look away for a second mayhem ensues!
the squirm’s new favorite thing to get into is my sewing stuff, which is where i keep my reading glasses (they are more needle threading glasses). when the squirm shows up wearing them, it is not a good sign.

the dolls are looking great.
do skeletons really need hair?
yes, sewing boxes scream out for young ones to get stuck into them, and how could the young ones resist? the squirm is looking very smart.
thanks! i guess they don’t really need hair, but since they are loosely based on dia de los muertos images from mexico….those skeletons always have flowing locks! plus, there are certain structural elements of the dolls’ assembly that is hidden by the hair 🙂
