We call the yellow dandelion flower “wet the beds”. If you pick it then you wet the bed that night. I have no idea where that came from.
When they turn fluffy like your picture, we make a wish.
And then if we see a seed floating in the air, we call it a “Santa Claus” and make another wish.
All that fuss for one little weed!
