wow, the first few months of this year have been a whirlwind of school, sick kids, meetings, sewing….it goes on. it was nice to relax a little this week for spring break.
the weather has been sunny and warm, so we have had plenty of time to play in the yard, in the dirt, and with the hose. our yard got a much needed clean-up as well, and i am trying to decide what i might plant this year.
unfortunately, the forcast for monday is 91 degrees. 91 degrees before the first day of spring makes me think this summer might be a scorcher! i might plant in pots, so i can move them to the shade if it gets too hot!
becca seems to have enjoyed having her people home all week. not sure what max thinks about it. i tend to think he likes a little quiet time.
soon we will all be back to school and work. while i do enjoy a routine, i’ll miss our lazy days.
