well, a hysterectomy, an ear infection, a possible bout with the flu and several kid sicknesses had be down for much longer than i anticipated, but i am finally feeling back to normal. so this weekend i started new years resolution phase one: exercise. i walked 45 minutes both saturday and sunday, and hope to get in a 30 minute walk today once mr p gets home.
all that exercise inspired me to enjoy a healthy breakfast of yogurt, berries and granola! yum! i think i would be feeling amazing if my legs weren’t so sore!
how about you readers? anyone make resolutions? anyone keeping them?
I didn’t make any resolutions, but I thought it might be nice to regain the flexibility I had before children. So every morning (almost) I have done 10 minutes of gentle stretching. I’ve been surprised at my progress. Every day, I get the tiniest bit closer.
Way to go! I am excited about making progress too. While I’d love to slip comfortably back into my fave jeans already (not yet), I feel like walking 3 miles is getting easier and faster. I am going to try to add in some yoga this coming week.
