earth, wind and fire

daylight creeps so slowly…..

just kidding, this isn’t really a post about earth, wind and fire.  but instead i wanted to show off the four doll set i made, loosely based on the elements!

<—-  this is violet, she is a fairy that represents air.

sal here is the fire element.  he is inspired by the fire salamander.  i really enjoyed making him because i hand dyed the skin to get the reddish color, and hand painted with metallic speckles.

merry is my lady of the sea.

<———–  she is wearing her land clothes in this photo, her new mom is going to be crocheting her a mermaid tail and i can’t wait to see it!

and last but not least, my nature boy and earth element, ash.
