time, it ticks, it clicks

it seems like the times in our lives that are often the most magical, are also the most stressful.

that was cryptic…what i mean is that sometimes when lots  of good exciting stuff happens at the same time, it can be exhilarating … and overwhelming!

the dolls are really taking off!  i have three skeletons to do for the art show, one of which(whom?) has a home already!  yay!  i am making some good progress on the sea sprite.  i can’t wait to see him come alive!  i ordered some super cool wool boucle in several shades of blue.

i think this sea sprite is going to have a little bit of a grunge fashion sensibility, picture him with a slouchy knit cap and a denim tail 🙂

after this i am going to work on a little girl doll with amazing yellow, orange and turquoise hand-spun hair and a fluffy tutu.

i have been trying to connect with other people i know who sew and craft, to collaborate with them on the doll clothes and looks.  it is really fun to make these kind of creative connections.  definitely something i have been looking for!
