the end of summer that is….well, fall has already been a knockin’, in the form of mr p heading back to work. but here is it, the squirm’s last week day before school starts!
i should have planned ahead a little more, as today our schedule is unusually packed. the squirt has two eci visits (in)conveniently scheduled to give us enough time for a quick lunch, but no nap time in between.
then the squirm has back to school, meet the teacher night! hooray! we get to say a big hello to ms tina and drop off our supplies. maybe we will even get to meet some of our classmates!
then we are off to papa and jojo’s for dinner.
i had hoped to get to san antonio this weekend for a friend’s bday festivities, but i am starting to think it isn’t a good weekend for long term driving. i’ll have to ponder it more.
the boys are starting off the last day of summer by sleeping in! it is about to turn 9 and i am still here alone drinking coffee, poised to make banana pancakes!
