Ah black.
I don’t often give kids black paint in the programmes I run. Every child, every time, when there is black on offer, every thing is painted black.
I figure that kids can make black by mixing the colours, but they don’t. However as soon as they get black already mixed up, they head straight for it.
I don’t know what this phenomena is called. It’s interesting.
yeah, it was a watercolor set, but he went right for the black!
My girls love to mix. Everything ends up black – or preschool grey at the very least. Sigh. I’m encouraging them to allow at least streaks of the original colours to show through.
