everyone once in a while i run across a person online who just knocks my socks off. i troll their blog/store/website with reverence, soaking in what they have created. i think my admiration is tinged with envy, but i think it is benevolent. i don’t begrudge them their talent, but i sometimes wish i had the ability/time/resources to do what they have done.

i want to share a blog i found recently. it is called doodlemum:a day in the life of my sketchbook. the author is an amazing artist, wife and mom of three. she has taken her need for creativity and chosen to sketch her daily life! the result is amazing.
i think i felt an immediate ping when i found her blog, because she has taken something i want to do, need to do, dream of doing……and DONE IT!
i am so excited to have found her blog, and i am hoping it gives me the inspiration (ie: kick in the pants) ineed to get my own sketchbook out and capture my life in images.

When are you going to do the drawing for children’s books course?
i don’t know, i keep waiting for the fall course catalog to come out! one of my friends in the next town over said she might want to take a class with me, which would be awesome! it is prob at least an hour to get there, so someone to chat with on the way and the way back would make it even more great.
