as another hot day dawned in the hill country, we reverted to our usual schedule. park in the morning, lunch…swim?
the squirm spent most of his time in the swing, but squirt entertained himself by going up and down, and up and down, and up and down, the ramp to the water fountain. see it live here.
we usually try naps after lunch, but since we want the kids to stay up a little late tonight for fireworks, we thought we would try a swim before nap-time. the squirm had a great time. he got this new floatie/life vest thing that lets him bob around mostly on his own. the squirt had a nice time floating, but it was clear his eyes were getting heavy.
fortunately both boys are napping peacefully, giving me a moment to post on my blog!
