i forgot to mention another book i read and really enjoyed. the second in the hunger games series, catching fire! this is a series written for young adults, but i have found the first two books captivating. i can’t wait to read the final installment. i keep trying to think of a way that mr. p might use these books when teaching high school english next year.

I love the Hunger Games series! Everyone I know who has read it loves it as well. Surely there’s some way he can use it in his curriculum. BTW, if you need Mockingjay, there was a copy of it at work yesterday on the giveaway library shelf. I can send it to you if you want.
