who would have thought it possible?? i just don’t really know what to write about….things are going fairly smoothly. the squirm seems to like his
new school and has really warmed up to the school bus. this is somewhat surprising to me, since it is pretty volumatic, but apparently he makes a run for the bus when it shows up to pick him up from head start.
the squirt is hanging in there, growing super tall, but still slender compared to the squirm. he is still stubbornly refusing to walk, or really even try to walk. i think he is physically capable (see previous post of him standing on the chair?) but just hates to fall so much that he doesn’t even want to try. i don’t really mind, except that i had toyed with the notion of sending to some kind of preschool program, just part time, in the fall. but he can’t really go with his age group if he isn’t walking.
i have been working on some tshirts, this one was a custom design i made based on a painting someone really loved. i shipped it off to its new home in canada and i can’t wait until it arrives! i hope she loves it, i thought it came out really cute.
the hedgehog shirt got printed and sent to its new home. and despite some issues with my white ink, i got some owlies printed up as well. i am currently working on a print of a beastie boys album cover for a friend of mine.
not something i would sell in the store, but it was fun making the screen and i can’t wait to see the shirt. maybe i will do a post with start to finish pictures so everyone can see the process!
this is the last month of school before summer begins. i am trying to look forward to it even though it brings nerve-wracking (for me) schedule disruption. i am hoping to take a sewing class in town, so that i can become more crafty. i decided to postpone the children’s book class, just because of lots of late night driving. i have a friend out here who is also interested in taking a class, so we might try to do something together in the fall to share the commute.

I would love to see pics of each stage!
Chris
You are very clever. Those t-shirts are great.
Pleased the kids are happily doing their thing. 🙂
Great T-shirt designs! Glad that your little boy likes going to school on the bus – we had friends whose little boy attended speech therapy at the age of 3 or 4, and he rode the bus and LOVED it…the bus driver greeted him daily with “El Presidente!” and the little boy was FURIOUS if his parents ever took him to school instead of sending him on the bus.
