i bought the water table for the squirm for his birthday, but the weather was so nice this weekend, and he was playing in the birdbath…so i thought i would break it out.
it took him a few minutes to warm up to it, but he got into the spirit pretty quickly!
little brother even got in on the fun. although he didn’t get quite as carried away as the squirm 🙂
the good news is that with both boys enjoying the outdoors, i managed to get one of my raised beds put together and ready to go! so far i only have 4 little broccoli plants installed.
what should i plant next??
Great pics, I love seeing kids playing in water. Our children live and breathe for the stuff – whether it’s a hose or a bucket, or something bigger: they are always wet. Don’t know what you could plant next – not quite back to my garden yet.
i put in some cabbage this weekend and one heirloom tomato called “mr stripey.”
Most kids love water and your boys are typical; they get so much enjoyment out of it, and they discover that there is so much they can do with it!
What about planting some green beans, cauliflowers, beets, onions? Capsicums are really easy to grow too, and pumpkins but they tend to roam all over the place!
Good luck!
i have been searching for cauliflower, i have one last place to look this week. i haven’t seen green beans either, but i have a lead on some old cedar posts to use as climbing materials for beans. i did get some onions in! i read that they help keep the pests away.
Sweet! Brings back memories of when my son was a little tike. Your babies are so cute.
I never heard of a water table. It seems a really fun toy. Cool!
thank you! i did manage some cuties! the water table is cool, i wanted one last year, but they had sold out. this year i shopped early!
