finding the fun in friday

well, a day that started off ok, ended by testing this mama’s patience.  anytime there is dual screaming, and especially if it starts because i can’t get ‘cars’ playing fast enough, i get kind of growly.  so instead let me focus on the good stuff that happened this afternoon.

my little non-eater stuffed himself with nutella and mandarin orange slices at snack time.  he made quite a mess but had a great time.

the second thing is that my waiting paid off.  i have been trying to patiently await the opportunity to purchase phone crack.  i have been a loyal apple user for decades, but also a loyal verizon customer.  despite the occaissional fantasy about debunking just to get an iphone, i waited and now this piece of technology is mine!  so far i have no complaints.  and the photography apps are awesome!

on the subject of photography, i found this awesome blog challenge.  the goal is to take a self portrait every week.  i am a little late to the dance, but i can’t wait to join up!
