we went on a fairly fun beach vacation a few weeks ago, down to matagorda. i say fairly fun…milo had an awesome time. it was just stressful for me to deal with the competing personalities of my aunt and my stepmom, while trying to get milo fed and napped on a reasonable schedule.
since milo seemed to have so much fun playing in the sand, we took a trip this morning to our local lake front beach. it wasn’t quite as dynamic as the beach, meaning there weren’t any waves to come and threaten our sand castle, but we had a good time making a big mess. definitely a destination to add to our play calendar.
