phrogmom

born and raised in houston, texas. attended a motley assortment of public and private schools before heading off to college.  ended up with a BFA in art ed from UT and a MFA in photo from UH.   latecomer to parenting.  lover of arts, crafts, animals, cloth diapers, books, cooking and coffee.

mr perfect

and i really don’t intend sarcasm.  finding mr p has been the best thing that ever happened to me.  i don’t deserve him and i can’t believe he puts up with me.  musician, philosopher, teacher.  lover of scriabin, coffee, sweets, rush and victor hugo.

the squirm

fast approaching three years old, the squirm grows before your eyes.  tentatively diagnosed with mild autism, main symptom is a delay in speech and communication.  extremely cute and very active.  lover of parks, ducks, carbs, cars, elephants, buzz lightyear and crayons.

 

squirticus

fourteen months old this week, squirticus is my smiley baby.  his disposition is almost always sunny, until it isn’t.  has an unusual crawl but can still cross the floor at lightning speed. surprisingly independent when feeling secure, stunningly co-dependant when attempting to hand off.  lover of toys, socks, kitties, the squirm, snuggles and ice cream.

currently my oldest baby.  we have been together since some homeless dudes in houston gave him to me 10 years ago.  somewhat neurotic, but people in glass houses and all….hates thunderstorms, loves car rides, swimming, donuts, and barking.

 

 

becca

rescued red dobie.  weight when adopted = 37lbs, current weight = 102 lbs. incredibly sweet, though majorly uncoordinated.  although she can sneak her big body on to the bed in the night with nary a ripple.  loves food.

snack

originally a birthday present for the squirm, provides endless entertainment for squirticus instead. loves biting the hand that feeds, night-time smothering and playing outside.
